Silent option in Obsidian URI does not work

Steps to reproduce

Use Obsidian URI to create a new note in silent mode
obsidian://new?vault=VAULT&name=NEWNOTE&silent

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]

Y

Expected result

A new note is created, but application does note open

Actual result

A new note was created and application instantly opened it

Environment

SYSTEM INFO:
Obsidian version: v1.5.8
Installer version: v1.5.8
Operating system: Windows 10 Enterprise 10.0.19045
Login status: not logged in
Insider build toggle: off
Live preview: on
Base theme: adapt to system
Community theme: none
Snippets enabled: 0

Additional information

It’s similar to Obsidian URI - new action silent flag not working correctly and it seems from comment that it works properly on other OSes, but on Windows I still have this issue.

According to https://help.obsidian.md/Extending+Obsidian/Obsidian+URI, the silent option is for this:

silent (optional) include this parameter if you don’t want to open the new note.

It will create a new note in the vault without focusing it or opening that note/tab.
