One of the (many) great features of obsidian is the ability to put notes on the sidebars. This provides flexibility to expand the note workspace out of the middle section and onto the sidebars if/when needed.
Use case or problem
If you place a note on the sidebar, currently there is no way to switch between edit/view modes - the note stays in its in its initial mode: If you put a note in “edit” mode, it remains like that; you cannot switch it to “view” - or vice versa.
Proposed solution
I believe it will be a useful feature if we can switch between modes for notes placed in sidebar; especially for notes that use queries, including dataview tables/lists.
