Things I have tried
New user, working mostly on iOS/iPad OS. I’d like to set up hotkeys to access a few basic commands, most importantly at this time “new note.” But without the Command and Option keys I don’t see how to do this.
It would be convenient if there was a configurable row of keys/commands above the default four rows of the virtual keyboard, as there is on some Apple Mobile apps. The developer of iVim, the Vim app for Apple mobile has done an amazing job restoring features of the desktop keyboard to the Apple virtual keyboard.
