What I’m trying to do
Retired , Will pay for help. My Apple notes got scrambled. DATA remains but files no longer in folders, but are available if files all searched individually.Apple was unable to help. I also migrated my Apple notes using both Apple and obsidian app.
I read that obsidian can organize, unscramble? my Apple notes. If obsidian cannot organize my Apple notes I still want to set up obsidian.
I need someone to help me with this, can anyone make a recommendation or lead.

Hi there,
When you say “scrambled”, are you only referring to the missing folders and organization? Or does it seem like any of the notes are lost, corrupted, or unreadable?
I’m just asking to clarify. I don’t know if I can help or not. If the folder structure is lost, I don’t believe there would be any way that Obsidian would automatically organize them back into folders for you. You might have to spend some time reorganizing your folders.
Have you seen the help page for importing Apple notes into Obsidian? My suggestion would be to try that. You can make a new vault, and attempt to import the notes as a test, at least. If anything goes wrong, you can delete the vault, or make a second vault, and try again.
