Use case or problem

I have a tabs structure that best suits my workflow. Sometimes I have to close everything (when I audit for example) and my problem is having to reopen everything again.

Proposed solution

I humbly suggest to implement this feature by adding the possibility to save a tabs setup and allowing to implement it. Perhaps having a pane of saved tabs “Views”, and where metadata may be edited if relevant.

This would solve my problem by allowing me to quickly set up my environment and experiment with different workflows and unlock better systems.

It’s relevant for me because I deal with hundreds of notes in different categories.

I think you are looking for the core Workspaces plugin:

There’s at least one community plugin, Workspaces Plus, that does similar.
