Set default map source in Map View plugin

I currently using Obsidian v1.5.11 with Map View plugin v5.0.2 on Windows 10. I’ve successfully set up a second map source using a local instance of a mapsforgesrv tile server so that I can use maps when I’m offline, which works perfectly for my need to incorporate location data into notes when I’m out in the field and don’t have Internet connectivity. However, every time I bring up a new map view/tab it defaults to ‘CartoDB’ and I have to manually change it to my local server. Is there a way to set my local tile server as the default so I don’t have to constantly re-select it?

I’ve not used that plugin, but could you use a template to insert appropriate code to choose the correct db?

I’m not familiar with using templates like that - I’ll look into that as an options.
