Sending photos to Obsidian on iOS needs note to be in edit mode

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a note in Obsidian that you want to attach photos to and make sure it is in reader view.
  2. Switch to the iOS photos app.
  3. Select photos (even just one).
  4. Using the share option, pick Obsidian
  5. Obsidian opens and presents a little menu showing the image file name and “Import into vault” and “Cancel” options.
  6. Tap “Import into vault.”
  7. Some flashes at the top of the screen to fast for me to read, and the little menu goes away. A new menu appears titled “Import success” with two options: ‘checkmark-icon Done’ and "document-icon Insert link into “Note name here”’
  8. Tap on the insert link option
  9. The menu goes away, and the note does not have any change, there is no ‘![[image name]]’ added. (If the note is in edit mode, this all works).

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y]

Yes, I really did.

Expected result

I expected to see the image ‘![[…]]]’ added to the note.
OR
I expected to get an error/warning that this operation is not available in reader mode.

Actual result

The image was added to my attachments folder, but not to the note.
