Steps to reproduce
- Open a note in Obsidian that you want to attach photos to and make sure it is in reader view.
- Switch to the iOS photos app.
- Select photos (even just one).
- Using the share option, pick Obsidian
- Obsidian opens and presents a little menu showing the image file name and “Import into vault” and “Cancel” options.
- Tap “Import into vault.”
- Some flashes at the top of the screen to fast for me to read, and the little menu goes away. A new menu appears titled “Import success” with two options: ‘checkmark-icon Done’ and "document-icon Insert link into “Note name here”’
- Tap on the insert link option
- The menu goes away, and the note does not have any change, there is no ‘![[image name]]’ added. (If the note is in edit mode, this all works).
Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y]
Yes, I really did.
Expected result
I expected to see the image ‘![[…]]]’ added to the note.
OR
I expected to get an error/warning that this operation is not available in reader mode.
Actual result
The image was added to my attachments folder, but not to the note.
