So, I was a bit annoyed by Supercharged-Links not working and also for me I saw no use in the “Append Text” feature. I rather had the “Append Text” as a SubIcon. So, I played around with CSS or rather SASS, to generated my own supercharged styling. Note: Still relying on the plugin since it adds tags/path/attributes to the html via data-attributes.
So, my CSS pretty much does what, Supercharged-Links did, but with some upgrades
- Support images/svgs via
background-image: url()
- Support sub-icon/sub-images
- Flexibility to change the styling how I want
- Subjective, but I like this kind of config more than via Settings
