- Select multiple lines.
- drag the front of the selection to the end of a line.

I expect to see the selection to stay at the end of the line.

The selection jumps to the start of the next line.

It’s only a visual bug. Cutting actually puts the line ending into the clipboard.
Are you selecting a paragraph that is broken down into multiple line, or is different pragraphs?
can you post a screen recording or some screenshot?
They are multi-line documents. Not word wrapping.
I can make one. But the site doesn’t allow the mp4 format.
Well, it does seem to snap to the next wrapped line also. But that might be correct for a wrapping line since the cursor is between the space and the next wrapped word.
My issue is that the new line character that is part of the end of a non-wrapped line doesn’t hold the selection.

In this video when I get to the end of the second line it snaps to the front of the third line. I’m expecting the selection to remain at the end of the second line.
