Selection visually drops the line ending

Steps to reproduce

  1. Select multiple lines.
  2. drag the front of the selection to the end of a line.

Expected result

I expect to see the selection to stay at the end of the line.

Actual result

The selection jumps to the start of the next line.

Additional information

It’s only a visual bug. Cutting actually puts the line ending into the clipboard.

Are you selecting a paragraph that is broken down into multiple line, or is different pragraphs?
