Select the whole line when mouse pressing the line number

Use case or problem

As a user I want to select the whole line / a range of lines with one mouse click.

Proposed solution

It could be solved by adding the possibility to select a line just by pressing the line number (line numbers for a range of lines).

Current workaround (optional)

To achieve this at the moment one must select the whole line by pressing the mouse and selecting the range (or via shift + left/down).

Another workaround (for a single line) is to triple click. (It may require more than 3 actual clicks, at least in Live Preview. I’ve developed a habit of just clicking until it’s all selected, so don’t remember if I still need to do more than 3.)

Would you be so kind to test it on mobile?

Because normally when doing 3 clicks at the end side of a line, after the last word, gets the lines selected, but when I try to do that in a bullet point containing links (external or [[Internal link]]) or code in the middle of the sentence/line It doesn’t work as expected sometimes does it but most of the time it “stops” the selection at the first bracket or backtick that it encounters.

I do it on mobile all the time. I do see the stoppage you describe, altho I hadn’t recently because I’ve been in source mode a lot (where it doesn’t happen). When it happens I usually finish the selection manually, but I tested just now and was able to select the whole line by tapping 5 or more(!) times.
