Searching for notes to link to is very slow

For a while now it has been taking a few seconds to filter the suggestions when i create a new link by typing [[

Searching the same database of links by hitting CTRL+o is super fast.

I have about 5000 notes.

I’m on version 0.12.19 on Ubuntu 20.04

Have you tried testing this without community plugins?

I had tried that, but while trying it again i got the idea to close the developer console that i have habitually open for plugin development. That seems to fix it
