A second Search and Replace function would be useful, one which would limit the function to within the confines of the currently selected text in Edit Mode and not the entire file.

I’m surprised, this very basic functionality (IMHO) isn’t implemented yet. It would be helpful to have this.

More than 2 years since original post and Obsidian still doesn’t support replace in selection mode? How can this be?
