Scrollable equations (on mobile)

Use case or problem

When having long equations, they won’t fit horizontally on the screen on mobile (portrait mode). They will mess up the lay-out of the notes as they exceed the screen width.

Proposed solution

I would like to see that Obsidian handles equations like how it is done on wikipedia. They make the equation scrollable, like this example:

Obsidian already does this when embedding equations from another note, so I expect this functionality is easy to implement for all equations.

Current workaround (optional)

I’m aware that you should not make equations longer than needed, or break them up, but sometimes you can’t prevent they are longer than the width of your screen of your mobile device (portrait mode).

Although I feel this should be default behaviour, I have found a very simple solution. It can be done by using this snippet:

	overflow-y: hidden;

:+1: I agree, this should be default behavior.
