Screenshots set to background of PDF viewer after added to second tab while in mutli-tab view

I often use obsidian’s multi-tab view with a PDF on the right, and notes on the left. I also often like to screenshot images from the PDF using my mac’s screenshot feature and put them in my notes.

I find that when I take a screenshot of some part of the PDF, after I drop the image into my notes on the left tab of obsidian, the background of the obsidian PDF viewer somehow changes to the image as well!

Sounds strange indeed. Next time it happens, try to grab a screenshot or screen recording of the entire Obsidian window (all tabs open, the sidebars, etc.).

Also, I would try all the steps in the troubleshooting guide to see if a community plugin or theme is causing the issue.
