Obsidian opens for a second then automatically shuts down.
When I go to photos, the screenshot was saved. So that’s good. I retry to import from there and that does work. It’s just not working immediately from the screenshot capture menu.
Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]
Yes.
Expected result
Direct import to obsidian.
Actual result
As stated above, Obsidian just closes.

both on iPad and iPhone 26.2 in a clean vault with restricted mode. It doesn‘t matter if Obsidian is open alongside or closed.
WhiteNoise, it‘s not that bug which involves the Photos app (which works as intended for me). This one applies when taken a screenshot and sharing it directly from the preview. OPs steps to reproduce are correct.
Sharing to other Apple apps or third party apps works fine.

FWIW, I can’t repro the crash on my iPad still running on iPadOS 18.7.3 (tested with both a mobile sandbox stored in iCloud and locally) nor on my old iPhone XS (stuck on iOS 18.7.3) …
Could this be related to iOS/iPadOS 26+ ?
