Running obsidian on openbsd

I’ve been using obsidian on ubuntu/debian for a while now. I’ve been considering switching to openbsd lately. Has anyone been successful in running obsidian natively, emulated, or in a vm on openbsd (or any bsd for that matter)? Or, in a dream world, are there any plans for obsidian to be ported to openbsd or versions of the source code to be released?

I don’t know if OpenBSD supports something like FreeBSD’s Jails, but this might do the job
