Use case or problem
If I import a graphic which has an unwanted orientation it would be very nice to have a function which allowes to do so.
Ok, if you have only on graphic this is not a big deal, but several …
Especially with a format like .webp which is not so commonly used in graphic applications. What I think is that this .webp format allows an attribute for orientation like graphics which are included in pdf as far as I know.
I use ‘Geeqie’. It allows to rotate but not to save the rotation to the file. If I open the file in Geeqie again the orientation is fine, it seems to me that it saves the orientation internaly. In Obsidian the orientation remains originaly so I have to open it in Gimp - which needs more time to load an rotate in Geeqie.
Anyway it would be nice to have a rotation function of graphics inside Obsidian.
Proposed solution
A right klick on the wrong orientated graphic should open a context menu which has the function to rotate the graphic - a short cut on the selected graphic would be great as well.
Current workaround (optional)
I open the wrong orientated graphic with a graphic tool like Gimp to rotate the graphic in the orientation I want.
