I love the new pane features, e.g., the ability to drag and drop, etc., and the older ability to open links in new panes with the shift button.
What might be more intuitive is to have more right click options for opening new panes. So right click should have an option for:
Open new pane vertically
Open new pane horizontally
Open new pane in the right sidebar
Open new pane in the left sidebar
The same goes with existing panes. When right clicking on the icon for existing panes, it says Select All selects texts across all new panes. Instead, it should behave like other applications: Move pane to the sidebar, as a horizontal pane, close pane, pin pane, star, etc.
