Resize the attached image

I embedded images with the function of attachement(a folder named attachment). I’ve try to use

![[attachemet.png|{width=50%}]]

But it didn’t work. Is there any way could change the hight or width of attachments?

What I’m trying to do

In this example 500 means 500 pixels wide
