Renaming Bookmarks on Mobile Triggers Open Instead of Edit

Steps to reproduce

  1. Long-press a bookmark, then select Rename.
  2. Try to place the cursor at the end of the bookmark name.
  3. Instead of placing the cursor, the bookmark opens.

Expected result

In rename mode, clicking a bookmark should not open it; it should allow cursor placement.

Actual result

Clicking a bookmark in rename mode opens it instead of placing the cursor at the end.

Confirmed in my normal vault on iOS.

Workarounds:

  • Move the end(s) of the highlight, then tap (& afterward optionally drag) to place the cursor. But tapping too far beyond the end of the text opens the bookmark.
  • Use the iOS keyboard’s trackpad feature to position the cursor (long press spacebar, drag to move).

I also found another problem: when I tried to rename a bookmark at the end of the list, it stayed hidden behind the keyboard.
