Removing unwanted properties is weird, booleans dont work

Steps to reproduce

  • create new property
  • enter something, or leave blank
  • try to delete it somehow

i can only delete them by marking and deleting the property name and pressing enter, that seems a bit weird
sometimes it resets the name , when i right click out of it i think

boolean values cannot be created, or deleted at all. they show up as text when you manually add them to the markdown file with another editor.

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]

Yes, same behaviour in sandbox vault

Expected result

property field should have been removed

Actual result

field still stays in the list

Additional information

heres some ideas i had about this:

emptying the fields by and seems tedious
an X button would be nice

also i would like a way to still manually edit the frontmaltter of the document directly
image

sometimes in gets replaced by the alias tag, even when that field already exists

but that might be due to my yml formatter settings and doesn’t happen in a sandbox

when the whole property line is in focus (and you are not editing neither the property nor its value), press delete.
Or right click on the property icon->remove.
