Remove the "X" button from the tag pill

Hello,
I would like to know if there is a way to remove the “X” button from the tag pill.

It is very rare that I want to delete a tag, once it is assigned I rarely want to remove it.
The problem is that I often click on the tag pill to open the search panel, but unfortunately far too often I instead involuntarily deleted the tag accidentally clicking on the “X” button. (On mobile it is particularly inconvenient).

What can I do?
