I wanna move my workflow from Notion to Obsidian. Having notifications on my phone is the only thing holding me on Notion.

+1 to this, and i don’t know why this isn’t implemented yet, cause even this feat could be useful for Obsidian itself to send info about updates, promotions, events or any other related info without the users having to open discord all the time. Of course task management can’t be done properly without this feature.

How close have you gotten so far? In fact, the only reason I care to try to use obsidian at all is the prospect of replacing cloud-based reminders/calendars!
There’s nothing on the market for this at all - is there? I guess all of the Microsoft/Google/Apple cloud stuff, but I don’t want to be locked into any of those ecosystems!
Google Keep has reminders!

+1 : it’s mad that this link has not been made. Tasks + Reminder is great but the final other is the jigsaw is too register the reminder as a system notification.

+1 please please please. The reminder plugin works on desktop, but does not have push notifications. I love obsidian and would love to be able to have my todo lists along side of my notes.

Reminders in Obsidian would be super helpful for keeping track of follow-ups and time-sensitive tasks right within my notes. Currently, jumping between Obsidian and other reminder apps is clunky, especially when I need the context of my notes to act on reminders. Built-in notifications would make Obsidian way more effective as an all-in-one productivity tool.

man, this has been open for 4 years. Is this ever going to be implemented? Kanban tasks are pretty useless without notifications
