I’m having a recurring issue with the Keep the Rhythm plugin. It keeps getting deactivated (showing the “Plugin no longer active” message), and when I reinstall or reactivate it, it seems to lose all its stored data or memory.
Sometimes it works fine for a few days, but never for more than that — and then it breaks again.
It’s a shame because I really find this plugin amazing and super useful!
Has anyone else experienced this problem or found a workaround to prevent it from deactivating or resetting itself?
When I am looking at my options, the plugin is indeed activated but not showing :
Hi @useramong
I am the developer of the plugin, there was an issue with the latest version that should be solved on the new one, if you can update please.
Also, if you lost your data somehow, please check the .keep-the-rhyhtm folder (is a hidden folder, you might need to enable seeing hidden folders on your file manager) and recover the data from there. Let me know if you need any help.
If you have any other problem, I ask you to please create an issue on the Github Repo, as there is a higher change I’ll see it and fix it! Thank you.
(basically, checked the backup from yesterday .keep-the-rhythm/backup-2025-11-20-0.2.json, and used it to replace the data.json in the .obsidian/plugins/keep-the-rhythm)
