Apologies, I only tested this in Catalina. Any Electron/MacOS expert can chime in on why that’s happening? I fixed a similar crash on Catalina by properly setting the entitlements file but I’m not sure what’s wrong with older versions of MacOS.

Does it help if you allow Obsidian via System Prefs-Security&Privacy-Privay to allow full file system access?
Hi I was talking about the left side Full Disk Access in case Obsidian/Electron needs write access to temp files or something similar.
When i enable the audio plugin and click the icon to start recording on my Mac Obsidian force closes. This plugin will not work on MacOS for me. It does work on Windows.
Has been reported here
