I created a simple Mac Automator script that collates my notes from one week, one month, and one year ago. I then scheduled it to run the script every day at 5 am and send me an email with the subject “Daily Review for {today’s date}” and the body containing the collated notes. I figure this could serve as a good method to prompt a daily review.
Has anyone else done something similar? I would be interested to hear if anyone has written a shell script or plugin for this purpose.
My method certainly has limitations. I would like to add separators between each note and possibly even a link to the original note.
