I’m trying to get the shortcut to work to see recent files but it seems to be overwritten with the Go to file function with the same shortcut. I was wondering if there was a way to choose a new shortcut for the See recent files.
I tried looking for it in the hotkeys menu to change the shortcut but it doesn’t show up in the menu.
The functions are bound to the same shortcut by design.
If you want you can install the Recent files community plugin and put the output of the plugin (the list of files) in a sidebar location or wherever.
The Quick Switcher, which is used to go to files, also shows the list of recent files when its text field is empty.
