Random Note plugin doesn't seem to work

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Obsidian, enable the Random Note plugin via options.
  2. Select some note and edit it.
  3. Memorize the note name and close Obsidian.
  4. Open Obsidian again.

Expected result

A random note.

Actual result

A last-edited note.

  • Operating system: Windows 10 Corporate
  • Obsidian version: 0.8.1

Additional information

Thought this had to do something with note’s content, but a simple note with 123 produced the same result on my machine. No randomness for now, though a minor issue.

I don’t undestand\can’t repro what is the problem. Can you do a gif?

I don’t get random note when Obsidian starts. Instead, I get last-edit note.

Attached is a gif, let me know if you can see the issue, it’s the first time I do screen recording.

You are not supposed to get a random note when obsidian starts. You are supposed to get a random note when you click the die button.
