Random Note, excluding note types

I frequently use the “random note” feature to review notes. However it often shows me my daily notes and I would like to exclude them. This would be easy if one could exclude notes with certain tags. However there is no way to configure the random notes. Could this be added?

The Smart Random Note plugin uses Search to filter the notes it draws from. I think there’s another plugin that does something similar.

i use Improved Random Note. i can specify the exclusion in the plugin setting instead of using the search.

alternatively, previously i used Simple Note Review plugin. I stop using it because Improved Random Note comes along and it’s simpler to use. Simple Note Review settings are abundant, so it’s a double edge sword.
