Additional information
- Relevance: I primarily use Obsidian as a note-taking app in which every file is a concept (e.g.
Force.md
,Atom.md
,Mathematical Group.md
, …), similar to how RemNote defined their “Concept Rems” (but I switched to Obsidian because their Software is extremely slow). There I highly rely on the Quick Switcher. For example in the above example I only have 4 Notes being prioritized before the noteA B
. If I’d have 30 concepts with anab
in it I wouldn’t be able to find the noteA B
with the Quick Switcher at all. I see 3 problems:- If I can’t find my files with the Quick Switcher anymore I may completely forget that I’ve even added them to my knowledge base.
- I use the Quick Switcher as a concept suggester to improve my use and understanding of terms (for example the term
Scientific Phenomenon
is more precise thanPhenomenon
because there’s aPhilosophical Phenomenon
concept that means something completely different.). This may not be possible anymore. - It would be cumbersome to write text since I always link the concepts whenever I use them and it would be inconvenient to write them manually.
