Thought I’d share this here if anyone else is interested:

TL;DR:
With a bit of Python as glue I can now mark notes to publish on my personal Hugo site and everything is handled automatically by GitLab CI/CD from there

My obsidian folder is the root of a GitLab repository and the hugo page lives in a .publish subfolder in there
