Publish: Strict line breaks

Hey!

I just started using Obsidian Publish and noticed that my notes were rendered with extra line breaks. I usually write one sentence per line and use the “Strict line breaks” Editor option, which works well in preview mode, but is not reflected on the published page.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Activate “Strict line breaks” Editor option
  2. Create a note with line breaks (looks good in preview)
  3. Publish (now extra line breaks)

Expected result

Single line breaks rendered as spaces on the published page, as in preview mode.

Actual result

Single line breaks are rendered as line breaks, as if the “Strict line breaks” Editor option was not activated.

Environment

  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • Obsidian version: 0.9.19

Oh right, that option isn’t being set on publish right now. We’ll add the option soon so you can change it for your published site.
