Publish Settings - Site Option - Excluded / Included Tags

Use case or problem

In the same way folders are very limiting for storage and navigation, they’re also limiting for including or excluding files I want publicly published. There are some personal, I-don’t-wanna-share notes that are right at home in the same folder that published notes are in. I’d like to be able to narrow down my published notes by telling Obsidian to / not to publish (or even make available to publish) certain tags.

Proposed solution

Under Publish’s Site Options there are options to include and exclude folders. I’d like an added option to include and exclude tags.

Current workaround (optional)

Tinkering with my folder structure in such a way that it would not be tinkered with if I didn’t have a publish site, which does feel fragmenting, inconvenient, and generally ‘meh’. I can also add a property “Publish” to determine whether a specific note is published or not, but there might be a large collection of notes unified by a tag which I might want to publish in one go later. Using tags to include and exclude notes would prevent needing to go through each note one by one to change my selection of the publish property.
