Steps to reproduce

  • Open Obsidian publish website on Safari iOS
  • Go on a note
  • Search on the page with “Find on Page”
  1. it doesnt work on a long note
  2. Scrolling is now stuck

Expected result

Search should work
Scrolling should not get stuck

Actual result

  1. it doesnt work on a long note
  2. Scrolling is now stuck

Environment

Not applicable, just Safari on latest iOS iPhone

Happens on any published Obsidian website.
Example: Welcome to The Quantum Well! - The Quantum Well - Obsidian Publish

Find on Page is managed by the browser (safari) not by us.

Anyway, I’ll double check.

I urge you to reconsider
It’s a basic function on every single iPhone worldwide
Imagine trying to find something on a website and

  1. it doesnt find any text that is currently not on screen
  2. scrolling suddenly is now stuck & slow (even after clicking on “done”)

Seems like a pretty serious bug, haven’t seen this on any other website before

I’ll double check but this may be an Apple bug.
