Some notes of mine are very Property-heavy. On those notes, I wish I could specify a way to mark the Properties setting as “Visible”. My default Properties visibility is “Hidden”.
Proposed solution
Either a property itself, or a set of rules in the Editor preferences section to configure.
I thought there was another feature request for this, but can’t find it at the moment. We can merge them later if we find something.
If you have the Properties in document set to Hidden there’s not much you can do as far as I know. However, if you set it to Visible, you can use CSS and a cssclass to hide the Properties in certain notes.
This hides the Properties view for only notes with the cssclass of noProps (of course noProps can be changed to anything as long as it don’t conflict with other classes you or your theme may be using):
Thank you! That makes sense. Yes, unfortunately I prefer Hidden most of the time.
I guess on the bright side I’ve got an idea for a plugin to build. Please let me know if you end up finding that other request - I figured this wasn’t a unique request, but wasn’t able to find an existing one.
