Properties view appears even when it's disabled

Steps to reproduce

  1. Disable the Properties view core plugin in settings.

  2. Create a new note with a YAML section in it:

---
YAMLValue: MyValue
---
  1. Properties view appears even though it should be disabled.

Expected result

I’m expecting to see plain text YAML:

---
YAMLValue: MyValue

Actual result

I’m seeing the Properties view.

Additional information

You might want to go to: Settings > Editor > (Under the section Display) Properties in document > select Source.

I think the toggle in Core plugins > Properties views just enable or disable the Properties commands and sidebar panes (not how they might look/appear), but I could be wrong :innocent: .

As a side note, you might want to update your installer version to Obsidian 1.4.13 as, per the changelog:

The installer has been updated to Electron v25.8.1 to address several vulnerabilities. To update, you must manually get the latest installer from Download - Obsidian.

That toggle is only about the properties view in the sidebar.
