Preview for folded content

Use case or problem

When using outline, once the article is long, I need to open the collapsed node frequently to view it

Proposed solution

Nodes that wish to fold can display their folded contents in a suspended window

In this way, I can fold the long article and then read the folded content through the suspended window

Like the following article, I just fold all the nodes, and then display the node content through the floating window
In this way, each folded node is equivalent to a small document, which is very convenient
With this function, there is no need to outline directories, no need to deal with complex text structures, everything can be solved by collapsing nodes

I hope to consider this feature, which will definitely make the use experience of obsidian better

Many nodes can be kept folded directly, and when you want to see the content, you can directly make it display its content in the floating window like a link

Then, when the content is reconstructed, we can expand the folding node to see the overall content more completely, which helps us reconstruct the content

Oh, interesting. So like the Page Preview core plugin but for folded sections instead of links.

Hopefully someone can think about this function, which is definitely subversive

I’ve changed the title for clarity & brevity (was “Nodes that wish to fold can display their folded contents in a suspended window”).
