Hello folks! First time here, after discovering this wionderful app!
I’m scratching my head as to how organize my notes – I have an idea of what I want
I’m an artist with a list of final images for Works
and a list of notes with the processes and methods for a commonplace book
ideally, i’d have a work-note like this: h2-for-final-image , h2-for-processes
such that I could query only a path like [[work-name#h2-for-final-image]] to list all works I desired within a set of properties
(for example, only drawings, only paintings, etc – all in images)
I have a property for media type
and I have a folder with media type
ok, fine until here
my problem is:
I’d like to have 2 distintic values in a same property:
noteType:
- index - work - basicInfo (like about me, shop, etc - test (internal purposes) - draft (internal purpose) - corpus (both for processes and commonplace infos)
BUT my problem is this: how can I have a noteType that is either a work XOR a corpus?
it wouldn’t work
but to make my life easier conjuring a list of work with a set of properties, headings work nice and I woundn’t like to change it
any suggetions?
RESTRAINTS
I’m using Digital Garden plugin for publishing online, so the only things I can use are dataview, core plugins, html and css. Any other plugins would make my life complicated. The only ones I’m using besides dataview are non-altering ones, Update Time to automatically insert creation and update date and hour in properties, and one to colorize my folders.
