Idea: Access a toolbar to edit text in more places; such as backlinks panel, preview, etc without leaving your current position.
Example:
Highlight text, toolbar can turn text into link/note, then add/search tags, other links, etc into this note you’re creating without leaving the current page.
Maybe popup editor could have it’s own plugins too; toggle a formatting buttons, live search field for matching text, etc.
