Plugin Validation Fails “couldn't find remote ref “

I am working through my first plugin submission. My initial pull request was validated successfully, but changes were needed upon manual review. Now that I have made those changes and updated my pull request, then validator bot is throwing an error I cannot figure out.

In Run actions/checkout@v3:

Fetching the repository
/usr/bin/git -c protocol.version=2 fetch --no-tags --prune --progress --no-recurse-submodules --depth=1 origin +refs/pull/3214/merge:refs/remotes/pull/3214/merge
Error: fatal: couldn’t find remote ref refs/pull/3214/merge
The process ‘/usr/bin/git’ failed with exit code 128

It was working before. I made some commits to the master branch, made a new release. Updated my pull request, and now it’s not passing validation. :frowning: It’s saying it’s not finding the remote, which I don’t understand. Any help would be appreciated!

The Release I’m trying to pull in:

This is a weird issue that shows up every now and then, we also have no clue how to fix it.
I’ll do the validation manually in a few hours and merge hopefully.
