What plugin will allow me to add commands to the mobile toolbar beyond the standard list?

Go to Settings > Toolbar.

Any core plugin commands and community plugin commands (e.g. Templater, if registered in Templater settings) will be available to be selected (unless they are already on the toolbar).

Third party plugin Commander is used

  • to assign a different icon to a command (restart of app required);
  • add commands in a Commander macro in niche caches when 1. one wants to chain multiple commands, 2. when it’s not possible to add a single command directly (I think it was the Apply Patterns plugin that I had to add to a Commander macro then add that macro command to the toolbar);
  • customize the toolbar: icon spacing, number of rows, etc.
