But I was unsuccessful, the “API Key” button for connecting to Smart Connections simply does not appear. What am I doing wrong? Also, when I click on the “Open GPT” button, I get the message below, requiring a login with a license.
The ChatGPT integration is separate from the Smart Connections plugin. It requires the Smart Connect software that’s available here GitHub - brianpetro/smart-connect
However, you may want to try using the Smart Chat that’s available in the Obsidian plugin first since it’s usually easiest to get started.
There have been lots of updates to both the plugin and the Smart Connect software recently, and I’m still catching up with documentation and videos. So sorry for any confusion in advanced! I’m going to try to get more docs/videos published this week.
Thanks for your interest in Smart Connect and Smart Connections
