Plugin: Remember Scrollposition

Hello,

let me introduce Remember Scrollposition.

Remember Scrollposition is a small plugin that does what the name suggests. Upon re-opening a note, it’ll return you to the previous scroll position. This can be handy if you have lengthy notes and want to continue reading where you left off.

The plugin only serves this one purpose. You can decide how long a scroll position shall be remembered & restored - and if you want to scroll instantly or with a ribbon button/command. That’s it.

There are some limitations: the plugin only works for notes (no canvases or bases) and only in preview or edit mode. The scroll position is not a perfect match and might differ from your last state by a few lines when restoring.

Still, it works quite fine for me and I hope it’ll be helpful for you as well!

This looks like exactly what I want, but it doesn’t appear to work on iOS (it said “this plug-in does not support your device“ when I tried to install it).

is that an intentional limitation? Any thoughts on adding it?

It’s really good plugin. Thank you for your work!

Hey,
yes, I turned of mobile use off on purpose. Honestly, I don’t know if it would work or not. I have no clue about mobile development, and I did not try it out, but I am using some codemirror internal functionality that might pose a problem.
I was not able find a guide when a plugin might be compatible to mobile devices or not, are you aware of such a resource? Or how I could enable you trying the plugin on mobile?
