Community Directory: I am not adding it to the community plugins.
I created this plugin to solve a very simple problem: I wanted to be able to view my private iCloud calendars in Obsidian without having to create public share links. It is NOT feature-rich. It does one thing.
I am not adding it to the community plugins. I will not maintain it (except to update the plugin if it breaks in future versions of Obsidian). If you can use the plugin as-is, then great. If you want to extend it with more features, clone it and have at it.
You will have to install it manually:
- Create a folder in your plugins folder called ‘icloud-calendar’
- Drop all the files in the repo into that folder
- Enable the plugin in Obsidian
The first time you open it, you will be asked to configure.
Below is the README from the repo GitHub - oldsagemonkey/icloud-calendar · GitHub

iCloud Calendar for Obsidian
A read-only calendar view for your private iCloud calendars. It connects directly from Obsidian to Apple’s CalDAV service; there is no intermediary service.
Setup
- Enable iCloud Calendar under Settings → Community plugins.
- At account.apple.com, open Sign-In and Security → App-Specific Passwords and create a password for Obsidian. Two-factor authentication must be enabled.
- In Obsidian, open Settings → iCloud Calendar and enter your Apple Account email.
- In App-specific password, create or select an Obsidian secret and paste the generated password as its value.
- Select Test connection, then use the calendar ribbon icon or the Open iCloud Calendar command.
The password value is stored in Obsidian SecretStorage. Only the secret’s name is saved in this plugin’s data.json.
Features
- Month and agenda views
- Recurring-event expansion through CalDAV
- Multiple iCloud calendars and per-calendar visibility toggles
- Event details, locations, and links
- Configurable first day of the week and automatic refresh
- Read-only access: the plugin never creates, changes, or deletes calendar events
