Plugin: Granola Meetings Simple Sync

Hey all. For anyone using Granola.ai to capture meetings notes… I built a plugin to automatically pull those notes (AI & handwritten) and (optionally) transcripts into your Obsidian vault.

I recognize mine is not the first plugin to do that, but I found the others very lacking and didn’t love their implementation. While they are improving, I don’t think any others have features like mine:

  • Using the official Granola API/MCP - not some internal-only hack
  • Customizable template for the Meeting, including frontmatter & tags
  • Automatic links to other meeting attendees Person note
  • Pulls in handwritten notes, AI notes, and (optionally) transcript

Mine is fairly opinionated for what I want, but I did included several options and I hope it’s useful for others too!

Hey, does this sync up meetings in organizations that I am an attendee but didn’t personally record? We have tons of meeting shared across the org that I have access to and want to sync up

Thank you. Your plugin is amazing.

If I can contribute, it would be awesome if we could filter notes from Granola based on folders. For instance, in my work vault, I would only sync notes that are in the folder “work” in Granola. If I have a personal vault, I wouldsync only the “personal” folder in Granola.
