Dataview code, entered in the plugin settings by the user, will be applied to the active pane.
Commands could work similarly to Open backlinks for current file, and Show backlinks pane.
Such a plugin would avoid the clutter in many files that have the same Dataview code. It may also reduce the performance hit of having Dataview queries on many Obsidian files.
I lack the programming skills to implement this plugin idea, if it is at all feasible.
