Pixelation On large height PDFS

Use case or problem

Please fix the pdf viewer to not be pixelated on large height PDFS. When I export as one page, I set the height abnormally large. External applications are able to render it without any pixelation, but on obsidians viewer it is very pixelated.

Proposed solution

Make it less pixelated.

Current workaround (optional)

I guess I can have multiple pages, that fixes the pixelation. The problem is, If text sits on multiple pages simultaneously I cant link to it all.

Is it different from this bug report?

I think it is similar to that.

Though when I split have separate pages its completely fine. When I have a width to height ratio of 300x20,000 (yes, twenty thousand) it becomes pixalted.

Ive checked on external applications, and they look perfectly fine.

Ive also tried using the PDF pages that are clear to see, then I use an external applications to combine all of the pages into one page using https://avepdf.com/convert-to-one-page-pdf, it became blurry.

I see. If you’re a Firefox user, you might want to try opening the same PDF in firefox because its PDF viewer is also based on pdf.js. If you face the same problem there then it will be a PDF.js issue.
They also have a Chrome extension.

When I opened the pdf via firefox, I just got blank page. The height was still 20,000 but no content what so ever… odd

I gave up to study PDFs in Obsidian. A better solution is Zotero
