What is the message telling you? Take a screenshot.

It’s telling you what you need to do to update and why. Do it.

The steps I described to reproduce the problem indicate that I did that procedure. But the message persists.

That message is showing because you are not running the latest version of the installer.

You are running installer version v0.14.15.

When I click on “Download” it sends me to a page where I can download the AppImage of the latest version, I download it and it is this file here:

I give it permissions to run as a program, I make 2 clicks, it installs, I restart Obsidian and I see that it is in the version indicated by the installer but nevertheless the aforementioned message appears

you have a problem with whichever software you are using to “install” appimages.

I do not use any Installation Software other than the default by Linux Mint 21.2.

I don’t know what mint uses. But the problem is there. try to run that appimage directly from the command line and see.

./Obsidian-1.4.13.Appimage

Thanks friend, what happened is that when I started Obsidian it was starting the previous version. Now the current version is without my plugins and settings. Is this as expected? Do I have to configure and install plugins from scratch?

No, your plugins and settings are in your vault.

Thank you very much again, very surprised with the speed of the responses in the community. They are great and have a great product. Keep going!
