What I’m trying to do
I am fairly new with Obsidian and have a PDF I'd like to highlight and annotate. I ran across PDF++ community plugin and have installed it and tried to review documentation and look at some online videos. On my obsidian on the far left hand side there is a couple of icons which I believe have to influence in PDF++. One is a marker outline that when I hover over it is says PDF++: Toggle Auto Copy and the other is a lightning bolt which when hovering shows: PDF++: Toggle Auto Focus. Then over the PDF along the top is gives various icons one being a marker outline that when hovering shows Highlight.
When open a pdf in obsidian and try to click and highlight, either by double clicking or by clicking and dragging (which gives the appearance of highlighting) but when I click on highlighter icon nothing seems to happen.
Things I have tried
I have reviewed the documentation but must be missing what I need to do to highlight text. In the videos and documentation, it shows highlighting and then copying a link to another document. I’m lost as to how to create that document and how it knows where to put the annotations. Thank you for any guidance in using the plugin to highlight and annotate PDF documents.
