Pasting text at the start of the name field when renaming, moves the cursor at the end of the field, past the old text

Hi,

I am in the middle of renaming many files, and I noticed the following annoying behavior.

Current behavior:
When I rename either a file or a folder, I move the cursor to the start of the name field (so I can add additional text in the beginning), and paste my copied text. Instead of the cursor to be placed between the newly pasted text and the old one (which would be helpful so I can add a space, or a seperator) it moves to the end of the field. Then I have to move it where it should be.

Expected behavior:
The cursor should remain when it was before pasting
